Audi started using hashtags (that’s a little phrase preceded by the hashtag and used on Twitter) in its adverts for the Superbowl last year, which is a good way to get topics trending on the Twitter social media hub.
The Chevrolet Volt-based Cadillac ELR has never been associated with a low price of entry, but Cadillac is now offering an extra incentive to those looking to buy one. The company will provide a 240-Volt Level 2 home-charging station including installation with a new ELR. Cadillac hopes this incentive just might sway some buyers who have been thinking about buying the luxury gas-electric hybrid, or those who have been cross-shopping the ELR with the Tesla Model S.
Mitsubishi plans to bring a global small car to the United States sometime around 2012. It would be the successor to the Colt small car currently sold in Europe and Asia. The new car would be all-new, and the name has not been decided yet, a spokesman said, referring to it as the “Colt-successor.”
“There's obviously a need for a very small car,” Mitsubishi spokesman Moe Durand said.
